Located in the territory of Moo 8, Mae Hoe Phra Sub District, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, the area is in the Mae Taeng National Forest Reserves with total area of approximately 9,375 rai. The Royal Forest Department has prociaimed it to be a forest park on September 10, 1994.

Topography
The landscape is forest condition right here is quite rich and shady. There are dense large trees that has tropical rainforest and deciduous forest. Generally is plain area and deep hill to appear the pan. Nearby the waterfall there is a beautiful viewpoint, whereas some plain area that the tourists can bring camping for overnight stays.

Flora and Fauna
Most of the plants is the large trees, that has many economically valuable woods such as red pterocarpus, teaks, lagerstroemia, vitex pinnata, shorea, dipterocarpaceae, dipterocarpus, pterocarpus, ormosia, ironwood, dilleniaceae, morinda, kayu, and also the forest floor e.g., ferns, acorus calamus, orchids and kinds of vines that lives in the river and waterfall.

Nowadays there are kinds of wild small animals to see such as lepus pequensis, jungle fowl, squirrels, chipmunks, skink, chameleon, herpester javanicus, eastern mole, shakes, coucals, dark-necked tailorbird and oriental magpie-robin, etc.
