Ton Sak Yai (Giant Teak Tree) Forest Park is located in Ban Pang Kleua, Moo 4, Num Srai District, Num Pard Ampur, Utradit Province. Ton Sak Yai is a forest park of 22,000 rais in Pa Klong Tron Phang Sai Forest Reserve. It was gazetted by Royal Forest Department on 1 October 1969.
Topography
The area is mountainous but not so steep that covered by Mixed Deciduous forest and Dry Dipterocarp forest on the hills.
Flora and Fauna
Main vegetation types here are Mixed Deciduous forest and Dry Dipterocarp forest. Around the Giant Teak tree there is a number of teaks differing in age from big to medium size to seedling. Other tree species commonly found here include Shorea obtusa, Shorea siamensis, Meliosma pinnata, Syzygium glaucum, Pterocarpus macrocarpus and Lagerstroemia cuspidate.
