Salaween National Park is in Sob Mei and Mae Sa-riang, Mae Hong Son Province. Most of this area is in the high mountain, and lowland. The forest is very well reserved. It is in 750 square meters or 468,750 rai.
Topography
There is the mountain lying from north to south. It is a part of Thanon Thongchai Mountains. The highest peak is 1,027 meters from the sea level at the north. It is the water source of Yuam, Salaween, Kong Ka, Mae Ngae, and Han Rivers
Climate
It is summer between March-May, rainy in June-October, and winter in November-February
Flora and Fauna
It is very well reserved and being the water source of Yuam, Salaween, Kong Ka, Mae Ngae, and Han Rivers. There are many kinds of plants such as teak, Xylia xylocarpa (redwood plants), and etc.
There are antelopes, deer, barking deer, tigers, boars, bears, squirrel, chipmunks, gibbons, palm civets, and birds.
