Kao Nangpantturat is in Cha-um District Petchburi Province. It is in 1,562 rai. The forest Department founds it to be the national park on 25th February 1999.
Topography
Most of this area is a limestone mountain. It is very beautiful and unique. The mountain lies from the north to the south, and looks like a giant (Nangpatturat) lying down. There are two important mountains called Kao Chaolaiyai and Kao Chomprasart. This area is high from the sea about 60-372 meters.
Climate
Generally there are three seasons; summer, rainy, and winter. However, in the rainy season, there will be raining for a short period of time, and in the summer the weather will be very hot.
Flora and Fauna
There are not many thick trees because the soil is not rich. Besides there are many limestones spreading around. There are bamboos and many kinds of trees also.
In the valley and creek, there are many kinds of plants such as banyan trees, bamboos, Azadirachta indica, Strelus asper.
There are also many kinds of animals such as antelope, linsangs, rabbits, bats, and many reptiles.
