Doi Wiang Kaew Forest Park is located in Moo 14, Mae Tuen District, Lee Ampur, Lumpoon Province. Doi Wiang Kaew is a forest park of 26,250 rais in Pa Mae Lee Forest Reserve. It was gazetted as a forest park by Royal Forest Department on 1 October 1989.
Topography
The area is a rocky mountain. There are two caves up on the hill and waterfall is found in Ra Ngong Stream. Ground is fertile with friable and sandy soil. Most rocks are limestone.
Flora and Fauna
Tree species found here are teaks, Afzelia xylocarpa, Syzygium glaucum, Shorea obtuse, Shorea siamensis, Hopea Spp., Lagerstroemia cuspidata and Gmelina arborea. Wildlife found here include Barking Deer, Wild Pig, Junglefowl, Squirrel and various birds.
